CT Man Slashed In Throat During Broad-Daylight Assault

Police are looking for the person who slashed a 56-year-old man in the neck on Monday morning, on Feb. 24, in New London County.

The attack happened around 9 a.m. near 191 Franklin Street in Norwich. Police arrived to find the victim on the ground with a cut on his throat.

Paramedics took the victim to William W. Backus Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, Norwich police said.

Investigators are now working to track down the individual or individuals responsible. No suspect description has been released, and police have not yet determined a motive.
